Job summary

Big Sky Animal Medical Center in Great Falls, MT is seeking a Veterinarian (urgent care/GP) to join our experienced team. This on-site role offers a sign-on bonus up to $20,000 and relocation assistance, with a supportive environment focused on emergency and critical care services.

As part of a national network under NVA, you’ll work with specialists and a collaborative team, delivering compassionate care, maintaining records, and contributing to ongoing education and professional development.

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent veterinary degree from an accredited program.
• Active veterinary license in good standing (MT preferred).
• Experience in urgent care/emergency settings is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality urgent and general veterinary care for patients.
• Communicate clearly with pet owners about conditions, options, and prognosis.
• Collaborate with specialists and imaging, internal medicine, and surgery when needed.
• Maintain accurate medical records for each patient.
• Mentor and support veterinary technicians and junior staff.
