Job summary

Big Sky Animal Medical Center in Great Falls, MT, is seeking a licensed veterinarian to join our multi-service team. We provide state-of-the-art medical and surgical care, with a focus on compassionate client service.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AVMA-accredited college or have passed ECFVG/PAVE certification.
• Licensure in good standing to practice in the state of employment.
• Ability to make decisions and communicate clearly with team members.
• Commitment to the highest standard of veterinary medicine and ethics.

Responsibilities

• Develop rapport with clients; perform exams and procedures delivering high-quality care with minimal stress.
• Explain findings, present diagnoses and treatment plans to clients; educate on healthcare.
• Maintain medical/surgical records; assist in follow-up and long-term management.
• Stay current with new medical information; complete at least 30 hours of CE annually.
• Support paraprofessional team to ensure top-quality care and client service.
• Positively represent the hospital in the professional community and to the public.
