MedVet Indianapolis is seeking an ER Department Head to join as an ER Doctor and leader. This full-time leadership role combines clinical practice with department oversight in a busy emergency and specialty hospital.

You will foster a collaborative culture, oversee Emergency Services with the Medical Director, recruit and mentor ER doctors, create schedules, and work with referral partners to deliver outstanding patient care.

Responsibilities

• Fostering a culture that supports the development of engaged and empowered caregivers.
• Collaborate with the Medical Director to oversee Emergency Services within the hospital.
• Serve as a liaison between the Emergency and Specialty teams to ensure outstanding patient care.
• Support the Medical Director in operational and strategic management of the ER department.
• Recruit, onboard, mentor, and develop ER doctors and create the ER doctor schedule.
