Qualifications

• English language proficiency as required by VA policy.

• State nursing licensure upon appointment and ability to obtain licensure where applicable.
• VA qualification standards reference for nursing positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate safe, efficient patient care across all facility areas.
• Administer medications and treatments prescribed by licensed providers.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care.
• Demonstrate evidence-based nursing practices and clinical decision-making.
• Supervise and delegate care to licensed practical nurses and support staff.
• Participate in patient care planning, triage, and discharge planning.
