Job summary

Planned Systems International’s QuarterLine unit seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant to support patient care in the Emergency Room at Madigan Army Medical Center, Tacoma, WA. The role requires compassion, quick response in a high-acuity setting, and teamwork with providers.

The CNA will assist with daily living, monitor vitals, and document care, while communicating with the healthcare team. Requires CNA program completion, BLS, and at least one year ER/urgent care experience.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited CNA program.
• Minimum one year experience as CNA in ER/urgent care.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certificate and BLS (AHA/Red Cross) card required.

Responsibilities

• Provide age-appropriate patient care per SOPs and orders.
• Monitor vital signs and report changes to staff.
• Assist with hygiene, safety, mobility and daily living activities.
• Support providers during exams and procedures.
• Document care and communicate with the healthcare team.
• Assist with patient transport, admissions, discharges, and basic admin tasks.
• Maintain clean, stocked patient areas and support clinic operations.
• Demonstrate professional communication in English with patients and staff.
