Job summary

Resolution Think LLC, through Cognito Systems, seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant to work on site at Madigan Army Medical Center, Joint Base Lewis‑McChord, WA. You will provide direct clinical care to active duty service members, veterans, and families, performing vital signs, daily living activities, and assistive procedures under supervision.

Qualifications include completion of a CNA program, at least one year of CNA experience in ER/urgent care, and a Basic Life Support certification.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Certified Nurse Assistant program.
• Minimum one year experience as a CNA in an Emergency Room or Urgent Care after graduation.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• US Citizenship required per contract terms.

Responsibilities

• Perform vital sign checks, note deviations, report to team leader, and ensure proper documentation.
• Provide for safety, hygiene, personal care, activities of daily living, and patient positioning.
• Stock rooms, dispose of trash and soiled linen, and assist with patient room turnover.
• Assist providers during examinations and procedures, including room setup and patient assistance.
• Assist with specimen collection and labeling for transport to lab.

Job Description:

• Perform vital sign checks, note deviations, report to team leader, and ensure properdocumentation
• Provides for the safety, hygiene, personal care, activities of daily living, exercise, and turningand repositioning of patients
• Clean and restock procedure and patient rooms with supplies forms and linen, disposeoftrash and soiled linen, supplies, and equipment
• Assists/Chaperones for providers during diagnostic examination, treatment and/or proceduresfor patients. Set up examination room, assist the patient with disrobing/dressing based on thelevel of assistance required, drape and position patient appropriately based on the type ofexamination and chaperone as necessary
• Set up and assist primary care provider with specimen collection, label, and documentappropriate patient information prior to transporting specimen to lab for processing
• Skills to obtain specimens for cultures (throat, nasal, wound, etc.) and collect otherspecimens (urine, sputum and blood) IAW SOP and competencies, when appropriate.
• Completes competencies in phlebotomy for blood specimen collection
• Observe patients for distress or changes in condition and report abnormalities to team leaderor other senior nursing/medical personnel.
• Perform role of a Safety Attendant for patients at risk of suicide to ensure the patient is safeand not a harm to themself or others. Complete the Safety Attendant observation worksheeton an ongoing basis and use to report during check-ins with other staff
• Perform or assist with minor, acute, and routine primary care tasks in the inpatient setting orambulatory clinics in accordance with SOPs and training rendered under the supervision of aphysician, nurse, nurse practitioner or other assigned personnel

Qualifications:

• Degree/Education: Completion of a Certified Nurse Assistant program
• Minimum one year experience within the last two years as a certified nurse assistantworking in an Emergency Room or Urgent Care post-graduation/course completion
• Certifications: Basic Life Support Certification
• Citizenship: US Citizenship required per contract terms
