MedVet Akron is certified by the Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society (VECCS) as a Level II Emergency Facility. In addition to our 24/7 emergency services, MedVet Akron also offers specialty services in Anesthesiology & Pain Management, Internal Medicine, Radiology, Medical Oncology, Surgery, Integrative Medicine, Neurology & Neurosurgery. We have an in-house MRI, CT, ultrasound and digital radiology with a boarded radiologist on site. We have a dedicated Hospitalist for our hospitalized patients. Qualifications:

• DVM degree from an AVMA-recognized institution
• Current license to practice veterinary medicine in the state of your program
• Employment interview with background check
• Two letters of recommendation from clinical faculty members with knowledge of applicant’s clinical abilities and communication skills (new grads)
