Job summary

Requirements include licensure in good standing with the OK Board of Pharmacy and preceptor license maintenance; a PharmD/BS in Pharmacy is required, with residency experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist licensure in good standing with the OK State Board of Pharmacy.
• Maintain OK State Board preceptor license upon hire.
• ASHP-endorsed PGY1 residency program preceptorship upon hire.
• Preferred completion of ASHP-accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency or equivalent.
• Preferred clinical pharmacy experience in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Ensures age-appropriate, safe, and cost-effective medication therapies for patients.
• Participates in departmental targeted clinical programs as assigned.
• Process orders and dispense medications according to established policies, procedures, protocols, and regulatory requirements.
• Administration of the ACGME accreditation and reporting requirements to external agencies.
• Contribute to the educational goals of the department.
• Enhance the performance, accuracy, and efficiency of pharmacy processes, to promote patient safety and improve outcomes.
