Job summary

Norman Regional Health System is seeking a clinical pharmacist to participate in all hospital pharmacy services and ensure safe, cost-effective therapies for diverse patient ages. The role supports educational goals, processes, and program maintenance to promote optimal outcomes in daily operations.

Qualified candidates hold a PharmD or BS in Pharmacy, with licensure in good standing in Oklahoma. A PGY1 residency is preferred, with preceptor licensure required on hire and board certification

Qualifications

Education: BS in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited college.
Experience: ASHP-accredited PGY1 residency preferred, hospital pharmacy preferred.
Licensure: Pharmacist license in good standing with the OK State Board of Pharmacy.
Preceptor license required upon hire; board certification encouraged.

Responsibilities

Ensure age-appropriate, safe, and cost-effective medication therapies.
Process orders and dispense medications per policies and regulations.
Administer ACGME accreditation reporting to external agencies.
Contribute to department educational goals and improve processes.
