Qualifications

• Education: BS Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited college.
• Experience: ASHP-accredited PGY1 Residency or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Preferred clinical pharmacy hospital experience.
• Licensure as a pharmacist and in good standing with OK State Board of Pharmacy.
• Preceptor license through OK State Board of Pharmacy upon hire.
• ASHP-endorsed PGY1 residency program preceptorship upon hire.
• Board-certification in related practice area encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Ensures age-appropriate, safe, and cost-effective medication therapies for patients.
• Participates in departmental targeted clinical programs as assigned.
• Process orders and dispense medications according to established policies, procedures, protocols, and regulatory requirements.
• Administration of the ACGME accreditation and reporting requirements to external agencies.
• Contribute to the educational goals of the department.
• Enhance the performance, accuracy, and efficiency of pharmacy processes to promote patient safety and improve outcomes.

Education

Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD degree

ASHP-accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency or equivalent (preferred)

Hospital pharmacy experience (preferred)

Pharmacist licensure and good standing with OK State Board of Pharmacy

Preceptor license through OK State Board of Pharmacy upon hire

ASHP-endorsed PGY1 residency program preceptorship upon hire
