Job summary

Grand Strand Medical Center – HCA in North Myrtle Beach, SC is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) to lead the nursing team on the ER unit during the shift. You will ensure high-quality, patient-centered care and coordinate care delivery in collaboration with the management team.

You’ll participate in staff admissions, scheduling, training, and process improvements, fostering teamwork and a patient-first culture.

Qualifications

• RN registered nurse with valid licensure.
• Registered Nurse Diploma.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support.
• PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support.
• Previous ER experience required.
• Previous charge nurse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with admission and discharge processes for efficient throughput.
• Assess quality of patient care in collaboration with management.
• Collaborate to create teamwork that improves outcomes.
• Support patient-first philosophy and service recovery.
• Operationalize nursing strategies to improve engagement.
• Provide hiring/training recommendations and performance actions.
• Assist with staff scheduling and labor management.
• Support inventory control of supplies and equipment.
