Job summary

The Clinical Coordinator position in the Emergency Department aims to support the Director by organizing and supervising personnel and resources with advanced clinical skills. You will help plan for smooth, high-quality operations and patient care, and assist in training for a high-performance care team.

Minimum 2 years ER RN experience is required; 1-2 years supervisory experience is preferred. SC RN licensure, BLS, ACLS, and PALS (or within 6 months) are required to qualify for the role.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Current RN license to work in South Carolina.
• Current BLS required.
• ACLS Certification required.
• PALS Certification or to be obtained within 6 months of hire date.
• Minimum of 2 years Emergency Room experience as an RN.
• 1-2 years supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Clinical Coordinator will assist the Director in organizing and supervising the personnel and resources in the Emergency Department.
• Demonstrate competency with an advanced level of clinical skills and the ability to assist others to achieve high-quality care skills.
• Assist with planning for smooth, high-quality emergency department operations and patient care.
• Assist in training of personnel and development of a high-quality care team.
