Job summary

St. Elizabeth Healthcare is seeking a part-time Clinical Care Technician for the Emergency Department in Covington, KY. The role is 20 hours per week (3P-1A) with a weekend shift every third weekend.

You will join the patient care delivery team, performing essential tasks such as vital signs, EKGs, specimen collection, and support to nursing staff. Responsibilities include transporting patients, assisting with lifting, wound care, and following all policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• BLS Certification required.
• Hospital orientation provided or completed.

Responsibilities

• Collect basic laboratory specimens and troponins; perform EKGs.
• Transport patients to testing.
• Perform CPR on full arrests as part of the code team.
• Assist nursing staff with patient care needs and rounds.
• Follow policies for specimen collection and EKGs.
