Job summary
HCA Healthcare's Methodist ER Legacy Trails is seeking a Charge Nurse for Emergency Services at our freestanding ER in San Antonio. You will influence patient care through collaborative leadership, open communication with your manager, and involvement in nursing initiatives.

Qualifications
- Two years of experience as a Licensed Registered Nurse in Emergency Services preferred.
- Current RN license and state nursing certification as required.
- ACLS, BCLS and trauma/nursing certifications must be obtained within indicated timelines.
- Strong collaboration and staff development capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Assist with admission and discharge processes for efficient throughput and high-quality care.
- Collaborate with management to monitor and improve nursing care quality.
- Support staff scheduling and labor requirements per patient needs.
- Participate in interview, selection, and training of new staff and disciplinary actions as needed.
- Promote patient-first care and engage in service recovery when necessary.
- Assist with inventory control and equipment management.
