Job summary

Cape Fear Valley Health in Raeford, NC seeks a Charge Nurse to oversee daily patient care, coordinate with physicians, and support staff. Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in nursing required.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
• Licensed as RN in North Carolina or Compact State.
• 3 years of related clinical experience preferred.
• 1 year in leadership role or demonstrated leadership preferred.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Rounds with the physicians.
• Serve as resource to staff nurses, nursing assistants, monitors techs and unit secretaries.
• Assist with procedures, checks orders.
• Responsible for daily QC and equipment checks on unit.
• Focus on patient flow and expediting patient flow.
• Oversee quality of patient care and discharge planning.
