Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required
• Completion of Medical Corpsman program and 1+ year experience (OR)
• EMT-P / AEMT / Licensed Paramedic with 1+ year experience (OR)
• EMT-B with 1+ year ER/ hospital experience (specific markets)
• First year of nursing education with 1+ year experience (OR)
• 2+ years ER experience as ER Technician (OR)
• 3+ years as CNA with hospital experience (Wisconsin market)
• 3+ years as certified Anesthesia Tech/OR Tech (Wisconsin market)
• Current BLS certification required
• Current ACLS/ALS certification required in most markets (with some exceptions)
• Current PALS preferred
• Active market-specific licenses/certifications where applicable

Responsibilities

• Collect, report, and document clinical data including vital signs and specimens
• Perform lab testing per policies and regulations
• Assist with patient activities per plan of care
• Provide superficial wound care
• Maintain patient safety and privacy
• Maintain aseptic technique and infection control
• Assist with admission, transfer, and discharge of patients
• Prepare patients and chaperone during examinations or treatments
• Maintain patient care areas with supplies
• Assist with restraints and document data related to patient needs and emergencies
• Travel to facility locations as required
• Attend mandatory meetings
• Perform additional duties as assigned
