Job summary

St. Luke's University Health Network seeks an Advanced Practitioner (NP/PA) with emergency medicine or urgent care experience for per diem coverage in our ED/urgent care settings. The role involves diagnosing and treating patients, ordering tests, and providing discharge instructions under physician supervision.

Candidates must be board eligible or certified with PA or NP licensure in PA or NJ. Strong patient education, teamwork, and documentation skills are essential for delivering high‑quality

Qualifications

• Must be board eligible or board-Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner or Medical Physician Assistant with current license to practice in the state of Pennsylvania or New Jersey.
• Experience in Emergency Medicine or Urgent Care preferred.
• Demonstrates ability to provide patient education, counseling and care coordination.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat patients in ED/Urgent Care under supervision.
• Order, prescribe or administer medications and IV fluids.
• Perform physical examinations and document medical records.
• Provide discharge instructions and ensure appropriate referrals.
• Conduct virtual care assessments when needed.
• Maintain proficiency with electronic medical records and billing documentation.
