Job summary

Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence, MO is seeking an Advanced Paramedic to join our Emergency Services team. The ER Paramedic provides care to Emergency Room patients within the scope of state certification, operating under established protocols and physician orders.

The role requires MO Paramedic EMT-P licensure, ACLS and PALS within specified timelines, and at least two years of field EMS or clinical experience.

Qualifications

• ACLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• PALS within 6 months of employment start date.
• High School Graduate or GED is required.
• BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Current MO licensure as Paramedic EMT-P required.
• Minimum 2 years of field Paramedic EMS experience or clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide services within the ER Paramedic scope per state certification and hospital protocols.
• Implement technical procedures and care to Emergency Room patients safely and effectively.
