Formación

• High School diploma or GED with six months patient access experience.
• Level II requires one year patient access experience.
• Knowledge of state and federal funding programs and insurance payers.

Responsabilidades

• Greets patients, reviews process, and schedules appointments.
• Assembles data for complete registration and performs insurance verifications.
• Enters patient demographics into the hospital EHR and checks eligibility.
• Assesses patient financial responsibility and collects co-pays, co-insurance, out of pocket, and deductibles at admission.
• Researches funding options and assists with government programs.
