Job summary

Leland is seeking an experienced Equity Research Coach to work with clients aiming to break into or grow within equity research roles. You’ll teach core equity research strategy, financial analysis, and valuation, while helping clients craft strong industry research and investment recommendations.

Coaches set their own hours and rates, host sessions virtually, and partner with the team to deliver a high-quality, supportive experience for every client.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in equity research (research analyst, associate, or industry professional)
• Strong track record of evaluating companies and markets
• Ability to coach on career topics: resume, LinkedIn, and cover letter guidance

We’re seeking an experienced Equity Research Coach to work with clients looking to break into or grow within equity research roles. This role includes teaching core equity research strategy, financial analysis, and valuation skills, as well as helping clients build strong industry research abilities and craft well-supported investment recommendations. Coaches also support clients on the career side, offering resume review, LinkedIn review, and cover letter guidance, along with behavioral and technical interview prep tailored to equity research roles. Additional support includes networking strategy, salary negotiation, promotion strategy, broader skill building, and guidance for those pursuing freelancing opportunities in the space. Ideal candidates have hands‑on experience in equity research (as a research analyst, associate, or industry professional), a strong track record of evaluating companies and markets, and a clear, structured approach to coaching clients through both technical and career growth.
