Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• 1–3 years of experience in investment banking or equity research preferred
• Strong work ethic, resourcefulness and critical thinking
• Ability to build and maintain financial models and forecasts
• Interest in Chemicals or Basic Materials space
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Solid work ethic and attention to detail
• Licensing (SIE, 63, 86 & 87) preferred but not required at hire

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial models for analysis, updates and client recommendations
• Monitor daily news flow, commodity price fluctuations and macro data
• Conduct industry and company research via channel checks and primary data collection
• Assist in writing comprehensive research reports and initiations of coverage
• Develop relationships with company management, industry contacts and investors
