Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
• 2+ years in sell-side/buy-side research, investment banking, valuation, or a related analytical role.
• Passion for fundamental research and long-term equity research career.
• Ability to independently build and maintain three-statement financial models from a blank Excel worksheet.
• Strong attention to detail and high accuracy in research outputs.
• Strong research, analytical and data-driven mindset.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with members of the Equity Research team to conduct fundamental research within the Business & Information Services sector, supporting coverage of approximately 30 public companies.
• Develop, maintain and enhance detailed financial models, earnings analyses, industry databases and company forecasts.
• Lead coverage on assigned stocks with responsibility for financial modeling, earnings analysis, research production and day-to-day coverage maintenance.
• Conduct independent primary and secondary research using filings, industry sources, proprietary data, and other tools to identify actionable investment opportunities and risks.
• Monitor developments, trends and macro events, identifying investment implications and new insights for the team.
• Contribute to research reports, thematic projects, client presentations and other thought leadership initiatives.
• Communicate investment views with the Equities Sales force, institutional investors, and company management.
• Identify emerging topics and develop differentiated insights that enhance the team’s research product.
