Capital Fund Management (CFM) in New York seeks a fundamental equity analyst on the Semi-Systematic team to generate alpha through long/short ideas. You will leverage internal datasets and influence systematic models with your fundamental coverage.
Candidates typically have 4–7 years of public investing, 2+ years buyside equity experience, and a degree in finance, economics, or business; MBA/CFA preferred but not required. Base salary 180–220K USD plus variable compensation and benefits.

You will join the Semi-Systematic team as a fundamental equity analyst, contributing alpha-generative long/short investment ideas into the portfolio. You will have the opportunity to harness additional insights from internal datasets and influence systematic models through your fundamental coverage expertise. You will be expected to follow a large universe of mid to large cap global equities within your sector, while selectively focusing on potential areas of market mistakes and divergent views.
We are seeking creative, collaborative, and hard working individuals who can distill, reconcile, and synthesize information to develop differentiated views on key fundamental equity drivers, and express those views to generate idiosyncratic alpha.
Base salary 180-220K USD depending on experience
