Job summary

Texas Capital Bank is seeking an Equity Research Analyst in Dallas to support senior analysts in bottoms-up analysis, build and maintain detailed company and industry models, and produce company- and sector-wide research reports. You will analyze industry data, monitor news flow, and present investment ideas to clients and internal teams.

The role requires strong financial modeling skills, Excel expertise, and a solid understanding of capital markets, with a preference for energy sector

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills with data and information analysis.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
• Understanding of the capital markets and stock markets with a passion for investing.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel is expected.
• Familiarity with the energy sector is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to senior analysts through fundamental analysis with an emphasis on bottoms-up research in the energy sector.
• Assist in constructing and maintaining detailed company-specific and industry models.
• Draft individual company and sector-wide research reports.
• Analyze industry data to identify current and long-term trends.
• Keep abreast of industry-related news and analyze implications for covered companies.
• Update and maintain analyst marketing presentations.
• Communicate with institutional and internal clients to convey investment recommendations and ideas.
• Respond to client and internal inquiries regarding research.
