Job summary

Fervo Energy in Houston, TX, is seeking a Stock Plan Administrator to own end-to-end equity compensation programs, including RSUs and ESPP, and ensure accurate processing across the plan platform, payroll, and transfer agents.

This role collaborates with Legal, Finance, and People Operations on insider trading policy, SEC filings, and employee communications. Relocation support is available for Houston-based candidates; experience with Carta or similar platforms is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3-6 years of experience administering equity compensation plans, including RSUs and ESPP.
• Working knowledge of insider trading compliance, 16(b), 4 filings, and 10b-5 plans.
• Advanced Excel skills and ability to reconcile data across systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication, with confidential, market-sensitive data handling.
• Willingness to relocate to Houston, or be based in the Houston area.

Responsibilities

• Administer RSU grants, vesting events, terminations, and forfeitures across multiple schedules.
• Maintain the stock plan platform as the system of record, migrate data from Carta.
• Process and reconcile stock transactions between plan platform, payroll, and transfer agent.
• Manage pre-clearance for insider population, coordinate with Legal on compliance.
• Administer 10b-5 trading plans, filings, and assist with Section 16 and Form 4 inputs.
• Monitor blackout windows and flag potential compliance issues.
• End-to-end ESPP enrollment, contributions, purchases, and disposition tracking.
• Partner with Finance on equity expense reporting, forecasting, and audit support.
• Produce equity reports for People Ops, Finance, and Legal leadership.
• Serve as primary answerer for employee questions on RSUs, ESPP, vesting, and windows.
