Job summary

BlockReel in Los Angeles is seeking a talented mid-level Editor for an upcoming commercial project. You will assemble raw footage, import music, dialogue, graphics and effects, and refine pacing with the director and producers to align the final cut with the creative vision.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of commercial editing experience, a strong reel, proficiency in Premiere Pro, and basic After Effects; own editing setup is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional editing experience in commercial or short-form content.
• Strong reel demonstrating a range of editing styles and projects.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro; basic After Effects skills considered a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assemble raw footage, insert music, dialogue, graphics and effects.
