Maverick Trading, a fully remote equity and options trading firm, is seeking traders to manage positions with strict risk controls. The role involves trading our capital, following rules-based risk management, and scaling profits through performance.
Compensation is a profit-split-based model (65%–90%), with monthly payouts and a formal qualification program required before firm capital allocation. This is a fully remote contractor role open to applicants in the U.S.
Maverick Trading is hiring a fully remote Equity & Options Trader open to applicants in Debary, FL. We are a 25+ year proprietary trading firm that allocates firm capital to disciplined traders and scales buying power based on performance and risk management.
Trading from the Southeast: Trade US market hours from your local time zone — the NYSE opens at 9:30am local. The Southeast — from Atlanta to Miami to Charlotte — has become a serious financial corridor over the last decade, with major bank operations, sovereign-wealth offices, and a growing community of independent traders.
This is not a challenge account. Not a demo evaluation. We provide structured capital allocation for traders who want a professional path to scaling capital.
Why options: Options allow traders to define risk, hedge exposures, and structure trades beyond simple directional stock positions. Maverick is one of the few proprietary trading firms that actively trades options as a core part of its trading approach.
Compensation: This is a 1099 independent contractor role. Compensation is a profit-split on trading performance, with no base salary. Top-tier traders earn 90% of their net trading profits.
About Maverick Trading: Founded in 1997, Maverick Trading is a proprietary trading firm that trains and funds professional traders. We are not a brokerage. We do not mark up commissions. We profit only when our traders profit.
