Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to teach both lecture and laboratory courses in sports medicine, sport management and kinesiology disciplines
• Current or previous certification as an Athletic Trainer (ATC/BOC) or other relevant sports medicine credential
• Ability to supervise and mentor students in laboratory, field, clinical, and experiential learning environments
• Ability to utilize technology and learning management systems to enhance instruction and student success

Responsibilities

• Teach exercise science, lecture and laboratory activity classes and health courses
• Create new Sports Medicine curriculum and certificate programs
• Develop internships and work-based learning opportunities
• Advise students on academic pathways, transfer requirements, and careers in sports medicine or kinesiology
• Support equity and inclusive teaching practices in a diverse student body
