Meraki Talent is assisting a leading global investment platform in expanding its Equity Long/Short business by adding established Portfolio Managers in New York. The focus is on market-neutral, fundamental Equity L/S strategies across US Financials/REITs and Japan.

We seek PMs who already independently manage a book, with a verifiable track record of risk-adjusted returns, disciplined drawdown management, and a repeatable process capable of scaling with more capital.

Qualificações

• Current responsibility for an independently managed Equity L/S book.
• Consistent risk-adjusted returns and disciplined drawdown management.
• Clear evidence of idiosyncratic alpha generation.
• Deep expertise within a defined sector or geographic universe.
• Experience managing meaningful gross exposure / GMV.
• A repeatable investment process capable of scaling with additional capital.
• Strong understanding of factor, beta and sector risk.
• Ability to build and manage a portfolio across both the long and short side.

We are working with a leading global investment platform that is continuing to expand its Equity Long/Short business and is looking to add a small number of established Portfolio Managers in New York.

The focus is on market-neutral, fundamental Equity L/S strategies, with particular interest across:

• US Financials / REITs
• Japan

We are looking specifically for established Portfolio Managers who are already independently managing a book, rather than candidates looking to make their first move into a PM seat.

Successful candidates will have a demonstrable and attributable track record of generating consistent returns through fundamental stock selection, with disciplined portfolio construction and risk management.

The profile

Candidates should be able to demonstrate:

• Current responsibility for an independently managed Equity L/S book
• Consistent risk-adjusted returns and disciplined drawdown management
• Clear evidence of idiosyncratic alpha generation
• Deep expertise within a defined sector or geographic universe
• Experience managing meaningful gross exposure / GMV
• A repeatable investment process capable of scaling with additional capital
• Strong understanding of factor, beta and sector risk
• Ability to build and manage a portfolio across both the long and short side

The immediate priorities are Financials/REITs, Industrials, Energy/Natural Resources and Japan; however, exceptional established Equity L/S PMs across other sectors will also be considered.
