Job summary

You will collaborate with program, operations, and engagement teams to ensure DEI shapes CFP’s strategies and grantmaking practices, design talent development, and cultivate a supportive, high‑integrity work community.

This is a strategy‑centered role within a private family foundation.

Qualifications

• Commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, intercultural awareness.
• Significant experience in the non-profit or philanthropic sector.
• Knowledge of the Chicagoland community is a plus.
• Ability to facilitate challenging conversations among leadership.
• Discretion and humility when working for and representing a private family foundation.

Responsibilities

• Focus on CFP grantmaking, shaping DEI in grantmaking practices and strategies.
• Lead team culture, talent development, and work‑culture design.
• Collaborate with program, operations, and engagement teams.
• Report to the CFP President and work with the Director of Operations.
