Job summary

Lightship is hiring a Manufacturing Technician to build all-electric RVs on a low-volume, early-stage production line. You will start by following detailed instructions and advance to handling ambiguity across multiple stations while ensuring quality and safety.

Day shift 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m. Mon-Fri with overtime as needed; role may involve supporting service, test, or field teams. 18+ required and ability to lift 25 lbs is necessary.

Qualifications

• This position requires 18+ and the ability to follow detailed, evolving instructions.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required with basic troubleshooting ability.
• Experience with mechanical or electrical trades and using hand/power tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow 5S standards and safety procedures, PPE, and equipment protocols.
• Execute work instructions accurately; flag gaps or deviations for correction.
• Inspect parts against quality standards and stop work if issues arise.
• Operate and maintain production equipment to meet goals; assist preventive maintenance.
• Grow across stations, handle ambiguity safely, and support other teams when needed.
• Collaborate with service, test, and field teams as required.
• Build strong cross-team relationships through clear communication and integrity.
• Provide feedback to engineering to improve instructions and processes.
