Job summary

Fifth Third Bank in Cincinnati, OH seeks an Equity Decision Specialist to support the Equity Review team by handling administrative tasks, data entry into CFR/CACS, and liaison with compliance, audit, risk, and management on past decisions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum one year of mortgage servicing/processing or the equivalent experience required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good mathematical skills and the ability to analyze statistical data.
• Strong knowledge of the keyboard, personal computers, and various software packages.
• Working knowledge of collection processes, procedures and skip tracing helpful.

Responsibilities

• Order and manage files through the Central File Room; track inbound/outbound files and meet CFR audit requests.
• Order, review and print brokers price opinions and title searches from vendors.
• Order, review and print Credit Bureau information.
• Report all tasks in the collections system (CACS).
• Enter Equity Decisions in the collections system per the authority matrix.
• File completed Equity Decisions and retrieve them on request by compliance/audit/collections management.
• Act as liaison between the bank and affiliates; notify affiliate of large losses as assigned.
• Maintain the large losses report bi-weekly as assigned.
• Assist with equity reviews during high volume times.
• Complete projects using Amtrak, Mobius, Crystal Reporting and/or Excel.
• Resolve routine problems; escalate only complex issues to supervisor.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
