Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker is seeking an Equity Compensation Administrator to manage grants, vesting, exercises, and terminations in a hybrid New Britain, CT role.

You will maintain records, ensure SEC and tax compliance, prepare disclosures for financial statements and proxy filings, respond to employee inquiries, and collaborate with HR, payroll, legal, and finance to integrate equity processes and deliver accurate reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, HR, Business Administration or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in compensation, finance, or HR, focused on equity compensation.
• Solid understanding of equity compensation vehicles (stock options, RSUs, ESPPs) and related rules.
• Familiarity with equity administration platforms (Merrill Lynch, Computershare) is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis.

• Administer equity compensation programs, including processing grants, vesting, exercises, and terminations.
• Maintain accurate records of equity awards and transactions in internal systems and with external vendors.

The Job:

• Familiarity with equity administration platforms (e.g., Merrill Lynch & Computershare) is a plus.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Ability to work independently and collaborate across departments.

The Salary range for this position is $51,700.00 - $83,300.00
