Job summary

The School District of Philadelphia seeks a Professional Learning Specialist to design, align, and facilitate professional learning opportunities for educators across the district. This full-time, 12-month position requires a Master’s degree and a PA Administrative certificate, along with several years of experience leading adult learning.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in education, administration, or related field.
• Five years of full-time teaching with experience designing professional learning for adults.
• Pennsylvania Administrative certificate for K-12 or principal.
• Strong knowledge of adult learning theories and coaching models.

Responsibilities

• Designs and facilitates professional learning sessions across network, grade bands, and school types.
• Leads content programming, logistics, and communication for district-wide PD.
• Develops measurement plans and tools to assess impact of professional learning initiatives.
• Hires and develops part-time staff to support district-wide programming.
