A leading global hedge fund is looking to hire an experienced Cash Equities Middle Office professional into its New York team, supporting a large and sophisticated equities trading platform.

The role sits close to the front office, working directly with trading teams and acting as a key operational point of contact for the desk. The individual will support daily trading activity while helping facilitate new strategies, markets, counterparties and trading venues.

The position provides broad exposure across Cash Equities, with a focus on trade matching and allocations, clearing, exception management and interaction with prime brokers and clearing counterparties. Candidates should have a strong understanding of institutional Cash Equities and the trade lifecycle from execution through clearing and settlement.

There is also a strong focus on improving and scaling the platform, working alongside Technology to enhance workflows, strengthen controls and drive greater automation.

The position is based in New York and offers highly competitive compensation, targeted at $275k TC for a high performer, and significant exposure to a sophisticated equities trading business.
