Job summary

4 Horn Trench & Shoring is seeking a Yard Technician II in Hutto, TX. You will ensure equipment is ready for rent and the yard is organized to maximize efficiency. The role requires driving Non-DOT company vehicles to client sites and a focus on safety and order in outdoor conditions.

Preferred candidates have a High School degree and forklift experience. This full-time manual labor position offers hands-on equipment preparation, loading/unloading, and regular yard maintenance.

Qualifications

• Valid state driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Maintain a safe, organized and clean work environment.
• Requires driving non-DOT company vehicles to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks with proper weight distribution and tie-downs.
• Transport non-DOT equipment.
• Prepare equipment for rent.
• Organize and store equipment and tools.
• Keep the work area clean and organized.
• Maintain forklift, pallet jack, and pressure washer in good working order.
• Match loaded and unloaded equipment with delivery tickets or freight documents.
• Perform minor maintenance or cleaning of tools and equipment.
• Note any physical damage to equipment on the freight document.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by Management.
