James River Equipment in Manassas, VA is seeking an Equipment Yard Associate to load, unload, and move equipment, maintain inventory logs, and ensure safe operation on the lot. You will verify fluids, attachments, and manuals, and help customers load and secure equipment before departure.

The role requires good communication, dependable attendance, and basic computer skills to learn our systems. Lift up to 50 pounds and work in varied weather; forklift certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills to learn inventory systems.
• Forklift certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload and move equipment and keep the lot organized and tidy.
• Maintain check-in/out log with serial and tag numbers for inventory records.
• Verify fluids, attachments and manuals with equipment; ensure safe loading for customers.
• Park equipment with leaks on concrete and ensure fluids are caught.
• Inspect yard perimeter for safety issues and repairs as needed.
