Job summary

TranSource Truck & Equipment, Inc. in Rapid City, SD, is hiring an Equipment & Yard Maintenance Technician to wash, detail, and maintain trucks, trailers, construction equipment, and agricultural equipment.

The role also maintains a clean, organized yard and assists with loading/unloading and seasonal grounds work. Responsibilities include pressure washing, moving equipment, and supporting Parts, Service, Sales, and Warehouse teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Previous experience in equipment washing, detailing, landscaping, maintenance, or general labor is preferred, but not required.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work indoors/outdoors in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Wash, clean, and detail trucks, trailers, construction equipment, and agricultural equipment.
• Pressure wash equipment and prepare units for customer delivery and display.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional equipment yard.
• Move trucks and equipment safely around the yard as needed.
• Assist with loading and unloading equipment.
• Perform general facility and grounds maintenance, including mowing, trimming, snow removal, and other seasonal duties.
• Keep buildings, parking lots, and sidewalks clean and presentable.
• Operate forklifts and other equipment safely (training provided).
• Assist the Parts, Service, Sales, and Warehouse departments with miscellaneous tasks.
• Follow all safety policies and maintain a clean, safe work environment.

Equipment & Yard Maintenance Technician

Equipment & Yard Maintenance Technicians Must Be Able To

• Wash, clean, and detail trucks, trailers, construction equipment, and agricultural equipment.
• Pressure wash equipment and prepare units for customer delivery and display.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional equipment yard.
• Pick up trash, debris, and scrap materials throughout company property.
• Sweep, clean, and maintain shop floors, wash bays, and warehouse areas.
• Move trucks and equipment safely around the yard as needed.
• Assist with loading and unloading equipment.
• Perform general facility and grounds maintenance, including mowing, trimming, snow removal, and other seasonal duties.
• Keep company buildings, parking lots, and sidewalks clean and presentable.
• Operate forklifts and other equipment safely (training provided if needed).
• Assist the Parts, Service, Sales, and Warehouse departments with miscellaneous tasks as assigned.
