Michels Corporation is seeking an Equipment Traveling Mechanic to join our field service team. You will maintain service operations by inspecting and repairing electrical, electronic, mechanical, and hydraulic systems on our fleet of vehicles and heavy construction equipment.

Travel is required to reach project sites across the region. We value safety, hands-on problem solving and the ability to work independently while collaborating with your teammates to keep equipment running and projects on

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
• Welding and fabrication experience.
• Aerial experience (desired).
• Experience with DOT inspections, hydraulics, drive train, controls, and electronic diagnostics (desired).
• Basic computer proficiency.
• A valid driver license for the type(s) of vehicles you may be driving and an acceptable driving record.
• Federal Medical Card.
• Travel

What it takes:

• Associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school and 6 months experience or minimum of 2 years related experience and/or training
• Welding and fabrication experience
• Aerial experience (desired)
• Experience with DOT inspections, hydraulics, drive train, controls, and electronic diagnostics (desired)
• Basic computer proficiency
• A valid driver license for the type(s) of vehicles you may be driving and an acceptable driving record
• Federal Medical Card
• Travel
