Qualifications

• 4+ years hands-on Equipment Technician experience in engineering-related fields, preferring mechanical, electrical, or industrial backgrounds.
• Direct experience with vacuum-based semiconductor equipment and wafer/substrate processing tools is required.
• Experience in NPI, test, and development environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up, install, and perform preventive maintenance on advanced wafer-processing and vacuum-based equipment.
• Interpret schematics, diagrams, drawings, and procedures to support setup, testing, troubleshooting, and recovery activities.
• Diagnose and resolve system performance issues using high-precision electrical, optical, mechanical, and vacuum test equipment.
• Develop, execute, and document experimental test plans; collect and analyze data to validate equipment and process performance.
• Partner with Development Engineers to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues during system integration and NPI builds.
• Support engineering activities including design verification, testing, modification, fabrication, and assembly of subsystems.
