Job Overview

In the Equipment Technician role, you will perform corrective, preventative, and predictive maintenance tasks on semiconductor tools designed to improve/sustain equipment availability, reliability, and maintainability.

Work Schedule & Shifts

The position supports a 24/7 operation in Marcy, NY, and involves one of the following four dedicated 12‑hour shifts:

• Front End Days: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and every other Wednesday (6:00am – 6:15pm)
• Back End Days: Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and every other Wednesday (6:00am – 6:15pm)
• Front End Nights: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and every other Saturday (6:00pm – 6:15am)
• Back End Nights: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and every other Saturday (6:00pm – 6:15am)

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform electro‑mechanical root‑cause troubleshooting of semiconductor manufacturing equipment
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble equipment according to operating manuals, schematics, blueprints, etc.
• Use tests and diagnostic equipment to complete equipment checks
• Work with process engineers to understand process‑equipment interactions and limitations relative to operating specifications
• As needed, modify equipment to improve uptime or overall process performance

Qualifications

• AAS in Electronics Technology or military electronics equivalent
• Ability to read and interpret instructions, schematics, and maintenance manuals
• At least 3 years of equipment maintenance experience

Additional duties and assignments may be designated by management.
