Job summary

ONEOK is seeking a Technician in Scott City, KS to troubleshoot, test, maintain, install and repair equipment across an assigned area. The role supports Operations and Damage Prevention as needed and follows a Monday–Friday dayshift with overtime and on-call requirements.

The incumbent will perform electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation tasks, maintain documentation, and participate in safety training. A high school diploma and relevant experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Experience reading and interpreting repair orders, mechanical drawings, procedures, charts, diagrams, dials and equipment manuals.
• Experience preparing, processing, or verifying maintenance and repair records, safety and environmental reports, electrical schematics and diagrams, pressure readings, and material and supply orders.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for assigned location(s) including transportation of crude oil, refined products and other liquids.
• Perform routine testing, inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of mainline and facility equipment and systems.
• Manage location projects including overhauls, pump troubleshooting, new installations or modifications.
• Input information into computer programs and perform daily facility inspections.
• Assist drivers and customers and perform truck rack operations duties.
