Job summary

Arnold Oil Company of Austin is seeking an Equipment Tech I in Austin, TX to assist with installing and repairing heavy automobile lift equipment and related systems. You will drive a company vehicle, maintain safety standards, and work in environments without central heating or AC.

The role requires physical endurance, a commitment to attendance, and the ability to read and write in English. Prior forklift experience and use of hand/power tools are beneficial.

Qualifications

• Read and write in English.
• Ability to lift 60 lbs repeatedly.
• Must pass background and drug tests.
• Must maintain regular attendance.
• Own hand tools (company provides large power tools).

Responsibilities

• Install new and used automobile lift equipment and perform repairs.
• Install and repair lubrication dispensing equipment and fluid systems.
• Install and repair compressed air systems and piping.
• Operate a company vehicle to service equipment.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and follow OSHA procedures.
• Assist management with duties as assigned.
• Utilize common tools and equipment listed during service calls.
