Arnold Oil Company of Austin is seeking hands-on technicians to install and repair heavy equipment, lifts, lubrication and compressed air systems. You will operate tools, drive company vehicles and maintain clean, safe job sites. A background check and drug screen are required, along with the ability to lift 60 lb repeatedly and read/write English. Starting pay is $20/hour, with pay commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred or required.
• Ability to lift 60 lbs. repeatedly.
• Must pass background check and drug test.
• Must read and write English.

Responsabilités

• Install and repair heavy-duty automobile lift equipment and related systems.
• Install and repair lubrication dispensing equipment and hydraulic oil systems.
• Install and repair compressed air systems including compressors and piping.
• Drive a company vehicle to job sites; maintain vehicle cleanliness and appearance.
• Maintain safe, organized work areas; follow OSHA procedures.

This is a physically hands-on role that involves working in a variety of environments. If you enjoy mechanical work, learning new skills, and working alongside experienced technicians, this could be the opportunity for you!**Starting Pay Rate $20/Hour - Pay to commensurate with experience**The primary job functions include, but are not limited to:Installing new and used automobile lift equipment and making any associated repairsInstalling and repairing lubrication dispensing equipment, which includes grease, oil, automatic transmission fluid and hydraulic oil tanks, pumps, reels, meters, piping and fluid inventory management systemsInstalling and repairing compressed air systems, which include compressors, dryers and plumbing systemsDriving a company-owned service vehicle with toolboxesRepairing most equipment located in an auto repair facilityMaintaining a satisfactory attendance record and appearanceMaintaining a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, work stations and shipping supply areas neat in the warehouseComplying with all OSHA and company safety procedures, rules, and regulationsUse of tools, such as, wrenches, hammers, socket sets, screwdrivers, hammer drills, hydraulic hose press, pliers, vice grips, pipe wrenches, and pipe threadersOperating a forklift when requiredPerforming other duties and assignments as directed by managementThe skill requirements include, but are not limited to:Continually walking, lifting, carrying, grasping, reaching, stooping and crouchingFrequently climbing and descending stairs and laddersAbility to lift a minimum of 60 lbs. weight continuouslyAbility to read and write in EnglishProvide hand tools (company will provide large power tools)Ability to drive automatic and manual transmission to drive company vehiclesMust successfully complete background and criminal history checkMust pass a physical, human performance evaluation test and a drug testMust maintain regular and prompt attendanceAttitude that supports the Company’s goals and valuesEducation Requirements:High school diploma or GED is preferred, but not requiredCertification Requirements:Company approved driver list (if employee is to operate vehicle)Company forklift certification (if employee is to operate forklift)#AL123
