Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Technician 1 to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on a variety of equipment, including aerial work platforms, pumps, HVAC, and generators. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and hands-on learning in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of diesel or heavy equipment experience, a high school diploma or GED, and may have trade training. Location-based duties include equipment inspection and repair across field sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; some trade school or equivalent training desired.
• 1–3 years of Technician experience with diesel equipment or heavy construction gear is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment in a safe, efficient manner to minimize downtime.
• Work as part of a team in a safety-focused environment.
• Operate on equipment including aerial work platforms, pumps, HVAC systems, or large generators as required by location.
