Job summary

Penumbra, Inc. in Roseville, CA, is seeking an Equipment Technician I responsible for setup and maintenance of manufacturing and test equipment and related documentation in line with Penumbra's Quality System.

You will perform preventative and on-demand maintenance, install and validate equipment (IQ/OQ), assist with troubleshooting, and help manage inventory and shifts, with occasional overtime and on-site work.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED with 1+ years in a medical device or manufacturing environment.
Experience in regulated industries preferred (medical/device/pharma/biotech).
Strong communication and attention to detail.
Proficiency with Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

Perform and document maintenance activities including preventative maintenance, on-demand maintenance, and non-standard repairs following quality system procedures.
Collaborate with other technicians and assist in troubleshooting as needed.
Perform on-demand maintenance and troubleshooting.
Install equipment and complete validation processes such as IQ/OQ (Installation Qualification/Operational Qualification).
Utilize the spare parts system to maintain accurate inventory levels.
Assist in solving equipment-related manufacturing problems under guidance of senior staff.
Assemble equipment and fixtures per documented prints.
Participate in manufacturing line moves and equipment relocation.
Adhere to the Quality Management System (QMS) and relevant regulations.
