Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals, Inc. is seeking a Technician I to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on a diverse fleet of equipment, including aerial work platforms, pumps and HVAC systems.

You will work with a safety-focused team and handle tasks that build skills for a career path in service or operations management. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, 1–3 years of technician experience with diesel or heavy equipment, and knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; some trade training preferred.
• 1–3 years of technician experience with diesel or heavy equipment preferred.
• Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems and troubleshooting fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment.
• Operate safely to minimize downtime and maximize fleet readiness.
• Work on a variety of equipment, including aerial work platforms and power generators.
• Be flexible with changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
