Job summary

Intertek in Plano, Texas is seeking an entry level Equipment Technician to join our Electrical team. You will manage and track electrical and mechanical test equipment, operate and maintain gear, and support calibration status.

This 1st shift role offers training opportunities and a path to grow in a global quality assurance network with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• No experience required; will train.
• Ability to utilize basic shop equipment and various hand tools.
• Ability to review, understand, and convey technical information clearly.
• Ability to follow simple instructions and carry out standard tasks.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
• Strong communication skills, in both verbal and written formats.
• Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Valid driver''s license and reliable driving record.

The Equipment Technician I is responsible for managing and tracking of electrical and mechanical test equipment.

Shift/Schedule:

1st shift, M-F.

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license and reliable driving record is required.

Preferred Requirements & Qualifications:

• 1+ years of related equipment experience
