Job summary

CSU Stanislaus is seeking a Student Assistant under Federal Work Study in Kinesiology & Public Health. The role involves supporting equipment management, setting up activity equipment, and delivering items across campus.

Ideal candidates are undergraduate students enrolled in at least six units, with confirmed Financial Aid, and capable of basic computer tasks. Availability Tue/Thu 10:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. is preferred.

Qualifications

• Undergrad students must be enrolled in a minimum of six Fall/Spring units.
• Must have received and accepted Financial Aid for the current term.
• Willingness to follow instructions and work independently.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
• Available Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Responsibilities

• Assist Equipment Manager with filling student and faculty equipment needs.
• Set up equipment for volleyball, badminton, and related classes.
• Deliver equipment to teaching sites on campus.
• Return equipment and store it properly after use.
• Maintain inventory and report lost or non-return equipment.
• Run department errands as needed on campus.
• Assist Equipment Manager with other campus activities.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

• Temporary hourly-intermittent Work Study position available in Kinesiology & Public Health.

• Positionavailable on or after September 1, 2026 and ending on or before May 31, 2027. Possibility of reappointment based on budget, department needs, and job performance.


• Job Description/Duties


• Duties include but are not limited to:
