Job summary

NLB Corp is seeking an Equipment Technician at our Wixom, Michigan location. The role focuses on servicing and repairing rental equipment in the shop and in the field, ensuring reliability and uptime for customers.

The candidate will diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems, read manuals and schematics, and document work orders. A strong emphasis on safety and teamwork is expected in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to read mechanical/electrical schematics.
• Team oriented with safety-first mindset.
• Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot and repair equipment in shop and field.

Responsibilities

• Serve and repair NLB rental equipment in shop and field.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and schematics to determine repair methods.
• Replace/repair defective components with hand tools and testing equipment.
• Maintain accurate work orders and adapt to changing priorities.
